Entire well-appointed flat in Turku

Clean, quiet, close to the groceries and bus, as well short walk distance to the city center. Positive: he apartment is located in a very clean and quiet building, just a 2-minute walk from grocery store and a bus stop, and about 15-20 minutes from the river. The self check-in via a key box was incredibly convenient, allowing us to arrive smoothly close to midnight. Situated on the 4th floor, the flat is perfectly equipped for up to 4 guests. It features a separate bedroom with ample storage, a fully equipped kitchen (oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, toster and even essentials like baking paper, olive oil, salt and pepper, tea and coffee), and thoughtful amenities for babies (highchair, potty, and digital thermometer). Having both a washing machine and a tumble dryer in the bathroom is a huge plus for the travellers who stay longer. We also loved the glazed terrace with wooden flooring for sunny mornings (if you like to sleep in the sunlight can be easily shaded with the curtains). All necessary cleaning supplies were also provided. The host was very helpful and answered the phone even in the very late hour upon our arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay as a family of three adults and one teenager, and we would definitely come back. Negative: The extendable part of the sofa bed is slightly damaged, making it quite challenging to open (though it was perfectly comfortable to sleep on once set up). To avoid causing further damage, we decided to leave it extended upon check-out :). Additionally, the key box mechanism can be a bit stiff and requires a bit of physical force to open. The kitchen backsplash panel is made of an impractical material that holds onto unremovable stains. Because of this, the kitchen might visually look uncleaned, even though it was actually thoroughly wiped down (tried it myself :))

poor cleaning quality Positive: good location, good equipment of the apartment Negative: nice apartment, but very dirty (especially the kitchen). Greasy handprints all over the kitchen, on the closet doors in the bedroom. I booked this apartment because of the good ratings and was disappointed with the quality of the cleaning.
